As far as Levon remembers it's the first time he'd recorded with a band from Finland.

The rest of the The Latebirds album (due early 2008) was recorded in LA with producer Jim Scott (Wilco, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Dixie Chicks), and in addition to Levon it includes musical performances by the likes of the Heartbreakers' organ player Benmont Tench, Wilco's guitarist Nels Cline and singing actress Minnie Driver.
