Below are photos from 9-year old Myles Mancuso's guest appearance on stage with the Levon Helm Band during their free outdoors concert in Woodstock, NY, 09.26.2004.

Myles Mancuso plays bass, drums and piano. According to Levon, Myles "may be a little boy, but he sure plays like a man... one of us... a real player." Levon has decided to take this kid under his wing and be an influence on his playing. They have rehearsed together in Levon's Woodstock barn/studio.

Myles' celebrated his ninth birthday in Woodstock, on Sunday September 26th, 2004. Levon was gracious enough to give this kid a birthday experience that will stay with him for the rest of his life, letting him sit in on bass on a blues number and playing live with Levon for the first time. The audience loved the performance, and after the song Little Sammy Davis on harp and Levon singing, lead the Woodstock crowd in a joyous version of "Happy Birthday To You".

Myles is a frequent visitor the Band web site, btw, and his Dad Nick toured with Ricky and Garth in the late '80s, on Richie Haven's European "Woodstock Reunion Tour."
