This photo is from the Danko/Fjeld/Andersen taping of World Cafe (a syndicated radio show out of Philadelphia) that I booked for the trio in October, 1993. This was a great day -- Rick and I had just driven to Philly from Boston (a 5-plus-hour drive, where DFA had done a show the night before. Eric and Jonas came separately and were at the studio when we arrived. It was pouring rain that day and we got soaked. Rick literally ran a comb through his hair (you can see in the photo that it's still wet), sat down and plugged in. The performance was inspired nonetheless!
