Elliott Landy's photos of Bob Dylan, The Band, Janis Joplin, Van Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and many others documented the music scene during that classic rock period which culminated with the 1969 Woodstock music festival. Elliott Landy was an integral part of the '60s music scene and official photographer of the Woodstock festival. His photographs have been displayed in museums and galleries around the world. This exhibition will also include a group of 14 prints recently displayed as part of the "Summer of Love" exhibit at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City (May 24 - September 16, 2007). This unique museum collection will be for sale along with his other images and signed books.

The Roger Smith Hotel is located at 501 Lexington Ave. between 47th and 48th streets in New York City (212 755-1400). The gallery is at the corner of 47th St. and Lexington Ave. (Northeast corner)

WEB ONLY SALE of Fine Art GICLEE PRINTS

I have begun making a new type of Fine Art Giclee print and am offering six images at introductory reduced prices: After long hours of experimentation and research, I have found a wonderful combination of pigmented ink and fine art watercolor paper that meets my own, uncompromising standards. The prints themselves are so beautiful that when framed, it is difficult for me to tell the difference between my Fine Art Giclee and a traditional Silver Gelatin print. (Silver Gelatin prints are two to three times as expensive and going up in price.)
