A Viberatto: A

A is the first full length release of A Viberatto, on the King of Beasts Record Label. A Viberatto was formed in 2008 by multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Goodman as a group to bring to life simple acoustic musical pieces in a cinematic type style, influenced by music from Iceland, Americana Folk Music, Classical Music and Nature.

The CD contains 11 instrumental compositions, and features performances by Jimmy Goodman, Garth Hudson (accordion and melodica on tracks "Polar," "River" and "Rooster"), Tony Levin, Chris Macchia, Ross Rice, Jane Scarpantoni, Nat Russell and Maja Berwald. Instruments include: Vibraphone, Cello, Organ, Glockenspiel, Analog and Digital Synthesizer, Electric, Acoustic and Classical Guitar, Accordion, Melodica, Piano and Cymbal.
