A Musical History: Track details

Below are detailed information for all tracks on the 2005 The Band box A Musical History:

Producer note:  Regarding the recording dates -- all efforts have been made to determine the actual date of the recordings.  Earlier period tracks were recorded in single sessions, therefore the date provided is the exact date of the recording drawn from the tape logs.  Later period recordings were produced and tracked over a number of sessions.  If an exact date appears, it represents the first known date recording began on a particular track.  Note that subsequent sessions were employed to yield the final master.
