Van Morrison: The Best of Van Morrison

This is a strong collection of many of Van Morrison's best songs. Of particular note is the inclusion of "Wonderful Remark," previously only available on The King of Comedy soundtrack. That alone makes this worth having. Many of the key Them tracks are here ("Gloria," "Here Comes the Night"), as is Morrison's classic "Brown Eyed Girl." Even though it's a strong sampler, it fails to draw a complete-enough picture of the depth of his work. Sonically, this CD is quite impressive.
