Dish: Boneyard Beach

[cover art]

Dish is a quartet from Raleigh, North Carolina, led by singer/pianist Dana Kletter. Kletter is a classically trained musician with an affinity for Brahms and Mendelssohn, as well as country and rock. She became involved in the alternative music scene through her 1980s roommates, a Washington, D.C. hardcore band, and was tapped for backing vocal duties on Hole's breakthrough album, Live Through This. Dish's debut album, Boneyard Beach, was released in 1995, and includes a cover of The Band/Bob Dylan song "Tears of Rage".
