The Cate Brothers Band: Cate Brothers
[LP cover]
[Back cover]
On this first album by Levon Helm's Arkansas chums
The Cate Brothers, Levon
drummed on the very soulful song "Standin' on a Mountain Top", a song he
later would record for his second solo album.
The Cate Brothers album was produced by guitar-virtuoso Steve Cropper. The brothers
Earl and Ernie Cate would later join the reformed Band for a short period in
the 80s.
