Kerstin Vretmark: Den Kväll Då Sista Tåget Gikk

Young, Swedish, female singer Vretmark, backed by Lars Samuelsson's Choir and Orchestra, do a translated version of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" on this 1971 single. The Swedish title "Den Kväll Då Sista Tåget Gikk" means "The Night The Last Train Left". The B-side "Stackars Lillemor" is a Swedish cover of Gordon Lightfoot's "Poor Little Allison." Vretmark also recorded a couple of Dylan songs in Swedish in the late '60s.
