Big Country: Eclectic
Scottish group Big Country had their peak in the '80s, when they
scored a brief string of UK and US hits, and their brilliant album Steeltown
entered the British charts at number one in 1984.
Eclectic is a live album from the "reunited" Big Country,
recorded at Dingwalls(?) on March 20th and 21st, 1996. Included is their cover version of The Band's
"The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down,"
also available on the 1998 compilation Kings of Emotion (Recall, UK).
