1973 album from Merl Saunders, a veteran R&B keyboardist player and longtime musical associate of The Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia. Fire Up! was made with help from Garcia, Tom Fogerty of Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Kahn, and Bill Witt. Includes Jerry Garcia singing a version of "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down". A live version with Jerry Garcia & Merl Saunders Band can be found on Keystone Berkeley: September 1, 1974 (Jerry Garcia 0004, 2004)
