The Morpholinos: For Background Use Only
Brooklyn, New York-based the Morpholinos -- Matt Glassmeyer on the "shuitar" (guitar-turned-drum-set), Lori Bingel
on bass, Brian Drye on piano and 18(!) friends/guest musicians -- recorded 10 "psychedelic muzak" cover versions of
"eighties standards" and released them in 2003 under the title For Background Use Only. The CD includes a
version of The Band's "King Harvest" (originally released in 1969...).
