Taj Mahal: Giant Step

Legendary blues artist Taj Mahal's 1969 album Giant Step contains the track "Bacon Fat", written by Robbie Robertson and Garth Hudson around 1964. Levon Helm claims (in an interview published at this web site) that the Hawks/Band also recorded this song in the Bell Sound studios in 1964 or 65.
