Carlene Carter: I Fell in Love

[cover art]

This comeback album has a perfect mix of old (A. P. Carter's "My Dixie Darlin'") and new (guest spots from Dave Edmunds, David Lindley, and Albert Lee). If Carter hasn't come to terms with her love for rock and her duty to heritage, she's at least learned to balance them.
-- Brian Mansfield, All-Music Guide

Levon Helm backs up Carlene Carter on the tracks "I Fell in Love" (Carlene Carter / Howie Epstein / Benmont Tench / Perry Lamek) and "Me and The Wildwood Rose" (Carlene Carter) on I Fell in Love.
