[CD cover]

Canadian blues guitarist extraordinaire Jeff Healey sadly passed away at the age of 41 in March 2008, only weeks before the release of his first blues rock album in eight years, Mess of Blues, which includes a heartfelt cover of The Band's "The Weight." Healey, blind since the age of 1, was among the genres finest performers and is probably best known for his 1988 mega-seller "Angel Eyes." He will be sadly missed.
