[CD cover]

Ultimately crappy and misconceived ultra budget ($7) re-release of Hawkins' 60th Birthday bash, Let it Rock with severe editing compressing the 19 tracks into 33 minutes. The Lawrence Gowan tracks are as prominent as anyone’s. Remedy is just sliced off at 59 seconds. The Weight is there in full at 5m 05s. Rock & Roll Shoes fades out at 1m 57 s. Why? You can get 74 minutes onto even a CDR? A strange project. BUT on the sleeve insert below the actual CD there’s a close up picture of Levon. Who licenses out these things? Do they get paid for it?
