Bruce Huard: Seul Avec Bruce

I just discovered an unknown version of "The Weight" adapted in French as "La Peine Est Sur Benny". It's on the 1968 LP Seul Avec Bruce by Bruce Huard, the former Sultans leader, released in Canada only. The funny thing is that the song is credited to Bruce, although it's the same melody & close lyrics (with "Nazareth"...). Also on the LP, uncredited French covers of the Zombies, Simon & Garfunkel, and credited covers of Tim Hardin, Beatles, Mann & Weil.
