Greg Harris: Things ChangeBanjoplayer, singer and multi-intrumentalist Greg Harris was a member of the late-'70s lineup of The Flying Burrito Brothers, a group originally formed by country-rock legend Gram Parsons in 1968 after he left the Byrds. Harris has released a few solo albums and worked with ex-Burrito Brothers on various projects in the '80s and '90s. His 1987/88 solo effort Things Change is a good Californian country rock LP. Greg Harris sings and plays guitars, banjo, mandolin and fiddle. Garth Hudson plays accordion on "Star Of The Show", a 3:50 track written by Harris. Other players include bass-veteran David Vaught, guitarist Tommy Spurlock, Skip Edwards on keyboards, and ex-Burrito brothers Jim Goodall on drums, steel guitar legend "Sneaky" Pete Kleinow, and Al Perkins. The 1996 CD re-release contains bonus tracks, with Hudson on 3 tracks, the LP version had Hudson on 1 track only. Tracks
