Lalla Hansson: Upp til Ragvaldsträsk
One of the best voices in Swedish pop music, Lalla Hansson, first appeared as part of the
Fabulous Four in the '60s. He has released a steady stream of singles and albums since then,
and is still active at the beginning of the new millenium.
His 1971 album Upp til Ragvaldsträsk is a collection of Swedish interpretations of
American folk and rock songs. The title track is is a translation of The Band's
"Up on Cripple Creek".
