Various Artists: Welcome to Transatlantic Country

The Band's "Stand Up", taken from the Transatlantic release of High on the Hog (TRA CD 228), is included on this 1996 compilation from Castle Communications PLC. The Band sits well with Kris Kristofferson's "A Moment Of Forever" (TRA CD 220) written by Kristofferson and Danny Timms. Timms was a member of the Fire Down Below band with Levon Helm. Some great tracks from Joe Ely, Jesse Dayton and Terry Clarke are featured with Willie Nelson's "Smoke, Smoke, Smoke That Cigarette" and Waylon Jennings' "Kissing You Goodbye". Four Men And A Dog's "She's On My Mind" is slightly out of place, though probably included because of their association with The Band.
