The TV series The Dukes of Hazzard was a CBS show that lasted from 1979 to 1985, a kind of western action comedy where the star of the show was a 1969 Dodge Charger named "General Lee"(!). This album is a soundtrack from the TV series, released in 1997 as part of the publicity for a new "reunion" for the series, with country singer/actor Tom Wopat doing a slick "modern country" version of The Band's "Up on Cripple Creek".
