Love and Respect is the second album from
from German musician and songwriter Carl Carlton
and his Songdogs.
Recorded in the US in November and December 2002, with contributions
from Levon Helm (drums on tracks 3, 9 and 11). German release on SPV Records
in 2003.
Levon and Garth also played on
Carlton & the Songdogs' 2001 debut Revolution Avenue. Interesting title for track 5 (for those of us that've
been spending time in Kingston, NY).
