Now Jonathan Edwards is back with his first album in five years, the confident, assured One Day Closer. This Minnesota singer/songwriter's claim to fame was the lightly upbeat ditty "Sunshine" (#4). Even though he was unable to match the success of that song, Edwards released a string of albums to a small but devoted following. His more recent efforts reflected a return to his bluegrass roots.
