Leonard Cohen: Recent Songs

[cover art]

Folksinger Leonard Cohen invited fellow Canadian Garth Hudson to play keyboards on two tracks on the 1979 album Recent Songs, probably most notable for its duets with Jennifer Warnes (which don't feature Garth).

Garth Hudson appears on the two Cohen songs "Our Lady of Solitude" (Leonard Cohen - vocal / Steve Meador - drums / Bill Ginn - piano / Garth Hudson - Yamaha / Earle Dumier - oboe / Charles Roscoe Beck - bass / Mitch Watkin - electric guitar) and "The Gypsy's Wife" (Leonard Cohen - vocals, acoustic guitar / Charles Roscoe Beck - bass / John Bilezikjian - oud / Raffi Hakopian - violin / Garth Hudson - accordion).
