The proceeds from this 1995 album was benefitting the Rock for Choice Organization, founded in 1991 by rock band L7 and the Feminist Majority. 14 female performers from the '90s cover hit singles by female performers from the '70s, The artists and groups include Babes in Toyland, Ebony Vibe Everlasting, Cassandra Wilson, Eve's Plum, That Dog, Melissa Ferrick, and Sophie B. Hawkins that covers "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" (a hit for Joan Baez in 1971).
