Stone Country:
"This Wheel's on Fire"

The short-lived psychedelic country-folk band Stone Country, one of it's members being country/Southern rock artist Steve Young that later would cover "The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down" on Honky Tonk Man, released a cover of "This Wheel's on Fire", b/w "Million Dollar Bash" on a 45 (RCA 47 9534) in 1968. Stone Country only made one album, the 1968 LP Stone Country (RCA Victor LSP-3958). "This Wheel's On Fire" was re-released in 1994 on the Australian Steve Young compilation Lonesome On'ry & Mean.
