• The members of The Band that have their "own" web pages are Robbie Robertson (Capitol Records' Robbie pages, Tracy's Robbie page, and Mike Martin's Robertson site) and Jim Weider.

• Our own Usenet newsgroup alt.music.the-band was created by Scott Tribble in May 1995. If your Internet provider does not offer access to a newsserver that carries alt.music.the-band, you can read the group on the web from dejanews.

• There's a Band fan club, with bulletin board, chat room, and more, at Yahoo.

• A The Band mailing list was established in November '98. To get more information or to subscribe to it, go to this page.

• The booking agency Skyline Music has pages on Rick Danko, Danko / Fjeld / Andersen, and Levon Helm & The Crowmatix.

• Check out Hideki Watanabe's The Band Pages, dedicated to the memory of Richard Manuel. Hideki also maintains pages for related artists like Bobby Charles, John Simon, Hungry Chuck, and other Bearsville/Woodstock acts.

• The radio station Eclectic Rock Radio brodcasts classics by The Band every day, only on the Internet. No DJs, no commercials, just good music. Listening requires that you have the Real Audio Player installed.

• The WWW site Wilson & Alroy's Record Reviews has reviews and ratings of several Band albums, and also talks a bit about this site. They don't seem to be very big Band fans, though.

• rec.music.dylan (the newsgroup for discussions about the music of Bob Dylan) sometimes receive articles about The Band.

• The Rock Hall of Fame has a WWW page on the Band's performance there on April 15, 1996

• The Band are of course inducted in the Rock Hall of Fame

• In 1989, The Band was also inducted in the Juno Awards Hall of Fame by the Canadian Academy Of Recording Arts And Sciences.

• The Band appears frequently on Todd Rundgren's radio show "The Difference"

• A rather extatic review of Across the Great Divide appeared in issue 1.4 of the magazine Urban Desires.

• Julian's Rock List Site, a large collection of best artist, album, etc. lists from the main rock magazines, has (of course) numerous entries for the Band. The Band's second album is also rated among the top 10 country rock albums of all times by Mr.Showbiz.
