An Evening of the Music of The Band

Featuring Garth Hudson at The Bottom Line, NYC, May 4th 2002

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Saturday night, Garth Hudson and a seeming cast of thousands (actually 11 in all, including Garth) took the stage at the Bottom Line - NYC's premier folk/rock venue on West 4th St. in Greenwich Village - to commence their second show of the evening featuring mostly Band classics. A highlight of the evening was when Garth ambled over to the club's acoustic upright and enchanted everyone with a magically whimsical prelude to "The Weight."
