The video Let It ROCK! features the repertoire from the Ronnie Hawkins/Various Artists CD Let It ROCK!, from the Hawk's 60th birthday party gig. Includes "Days Gone By", a video tribute to Richard Manuel, featuring guest appearances by The Band - Levon Helm, Rick Danko and Garth Hudson. Re-released on DVD in 2005.

The Rock'n'Roll Video of the Decade (no kidding, that's what it says on the cover!), Ronnie Hawkins' 60th birthday concert includes performance by Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Lawrence Gowan, and the Band. 19 songs, eighteen performed live at Toronto's Massey Auditorium sometime in the past year. Distributed in the US by Quality Records, Sherman Oaks, CA (Quality Video - "All New Digital Recording"). I got it at Suncoast Video - well worth the 15 bucks. The video of "Days Gone By" is sentimental, nostalgic, and a little maudlin (But still OK). The concert performances rock. Hawkins goads on Jeff Healey (verbally) to greater and greater heights of guitar soloing (ain't that a revelation) and states "If I ruled the world, this is the band I would pick."
