Angus: Angus
Angus is a group lead by Matthew Angus of Black Potatoe Records and Atomic Productions,
all based in Clinton, New Jersey.
The CD by Angus was released July 19th 1997, and features the track "Where
Are We Now?", produced by Aaron Hurwitz and with Garth Hudson on the
accordian. Levon Helm played a set with the Crowmatix at the CD
release, and Angus was involved in the recording of "Blind Willie McTell" for Rick Danko's
1997 live album.
Also noteworthy on this album is the guest appearance of saxophonist
Dan Myers of the RCA recording artists From Good Homes. The credits
include "special thanks to Rick, Garth, Levon and Aaron."
