Tommy Talton was an American guitarist who was a member of the Southern/country-rock groups Cowboy and We the People. He was also noted for playing and recording with Gregg Allman, Paul Butterfield, the Allman Brothers Band and many others. Levon Helm recorded Tommy Talton's song "Give a Little Bit" for his eponymously titled 1982 solo album. In 2012, Tommy Talton recorded the song again for the album Let's Get Outta Here, adding "Tribute to Levon Helm" to the song title.
